▶ On Friday, 29 August, the Palladium at Crown hosted the annual NECA Victorian Excellence Awards, recognising outstanding achievements across the electrical and communications industry.

🔸The Keece VIC Project Management team was proud to be there supporting Lily Strachan, our VIC Contracts Administrator, who was nominated and named a finalist in the Women in Energy category. ⚡

⚡ BSW 2026 | 5th Edition

▶ Last week, our Keece Group staff came together in Port Douglas, QLD, for the 5th edition of our annual Budget & Strategy Workshop (BSW).

🔸 A few days dedicated to aligning our strategy for the year ahead, sharing experiences and knowledge across the Group, welcoming new team members, and strengthening the connections that make us One Keece.

🔸 And, of course, there was plenty of time for great conversations, laughs and memorable moments together.

🟨 A special thank you to Dr Jon Hopwood and the team at Social Agility for joining us and bringing valuable knowledge, insights and energy to the workshop.

🟨Project Complete | Supporting Lighthouse Foundation

We're proud to have completed the lighting, power and data installation in support of Lighthouse Foundation new facility in Cremorne, Melbourne.

◾Led by Project Manager Curtis, with the installation delivered on site by Site Supervisor D'Amico, it was a privilege to contribute to an organisation doing incredible work to support young people.

🟨 Working alongside MAVSSA, Keece SA recently completed the refurbishment of the Joseph Building at St Francis of Assisi, providing a comprehensive electrical solution to support the upgraded learning and community spaces.

▶ DELIVERING AT SCALE | TOLL KEMPS CREEK DISTRIBUTION CENTRE

🟨 Over a five-month programme, Keece NSW successfully delivered the electrical fit-out of a major warehouse and cool room facility at the Toll Kemps Creek Distribution Centre through Mainbrace.

🔸Working within a 66,000m² warehouse environment, the project involved the installation of more than 600 metres of cable tray, 11.5 kilometres of aluminium XLPE mains cabling completed across nine night shifts, new main and distribution boards, cool room electrical services, office fit-outs, forklift charging infrastructure and additional operational upgrades.

🔸The project required detailed coordination, strict staging requirements and close collaboration with multiple trades to maintain programme milestones and site productivity.

🔸A fantastic result from the entire team, with all systems successfully energised and commissioned, zero faults recorded during apprentice-assisted switchboard fit-offs and energisation works, and the overall project handed over five weeks ahead of schedule.

🔷Congratulations to Site Supervisor Daniel Cipri, Leading Hand Luke Coughtrey, apprentices Chadi Kourouche, Jade Ross, Zak Williams and Ken Zhang, along with everyone who contributed to another successful Keece project.⚡

🚧WORK IN PROGRESS | ADELAIDE SA⚡

🟨 Keece is proud to be delivering electrical infrastructure works as part of a major greenfield fit-out project in South Australia.

🔸The project includes the installation of a new 1200A Main Switchboard designed to accommodate a 1000A supply, complete with full-load generator backup supply via Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS).

🔸Working within a highly constrained footprint, the team has carefully coordinated the delivery and installation of all required components without compromising functionality, accessibility or client outcomes.

✅ A great example of planning, coordination and technical delivery coming together to support critical infrastructure requirements in live project environments.👊

✨ Inspiring the next generation of women in trades ✨

On 2 and 3 June 2026, Keece proudly participated in the Trade & Tech Fit Career Expo in Melbourne, a hands-on trade and technology showcase designed to introduce female and gender-diverse students from Years 7 to 12 to the diverse career opportunities available across the trades and technology sectors.

🔸Through hands-on activities, career conversations, and real-world insights from one of our female apprentices, students had the opportunity to explore what a future in electrical, technology and infrastructure could look like.

🔸One of the highlights of the day was seeing so many young women genuinely excited to get involved, ask questions, and try something new. These moments matter. A simple conversation or hands-on experience can help change perceptions, build confidence, and open the door to career pathways that may never have been considered before.

RAPID RESPONSE WHEN IT MATTERS MOST

🔷A client recently experienced a major fire sprinkler leak that flooded a riser and impacted multiple switchboards and critical infrastructure across the site.

🟨 Keece Maintenance responded immediately, mobilising the team after hours to support emergency temporary power restoration and recovery works to minimise disruption and help restore operations safely and efficiently. ⚡

▪ Through strong coordination, fast response and a commitment to delivery, the affected assets were progressively restored while maintaining a safe and controlled work environment onsite.
