I am excited to announce that I am reopening the family business. Moroneys Plumbing & Gasfitting is back operating in Rochester under new management.

After 7 years working for Dad and a couple of years in Melbourne I am looking forward to being back servicing the Rochester community.

Sadly it has come to the time when I must inform the Rochester community of the permanent closure of our family business at 4pm on Wednesday the 22nd of December after almost 40 years. The sudden loss of Geoff meant that this would be the eventual outcome. To our loyal customers - many for most of that time - I thank you most sincerely! We have always regarded you as our friends and I will miss our contact at the shop. Support for businesses in a small town is essential for each to thrive.

The Funeral Service for Geoff Moroney will be offered at Moon Oval, Rochester on Tuesday the 11th of May 2021 at 1.00 pm, then interment at Rochester Cemetary, followed by refreshments at Rochester Football Club Rooms.

The Moroney family are sad to let you know of the sudden passing of Geoff on Thursday 29th April, 2021.
The plumbing business will be closed indefinitely.

Funeral details will follow when confirmed.
In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to Camp Quality, a project close to Geoff's heart through his annual Plumbers Charity Golf Day in Bendigo.

To all of our loyal customers & friends, we will be closing at 12.00 Thursday 24/12/20 & will be re-opening on the 11/01/21. We hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas & an even better 2021.
I think we will all be glad to see the start of a new year ahead.
