TBG recently completed the ADF Western Street LED Lighting Upgrade at the Western Street Barracks in Rockhampton, supplying and installing 1,300 LED light fittings as part of a national Defence Australia program.

This initiative forms part of a broader rollout across 37 bases nationwide, replacing outdated, inefficient lighting with modern LED solutions designed to improve performance, reduce energy consumption, and support long-term emissions reduction.

With 87,000 fittings installed across Australia - contributing to an estimated 24,000 tonnes of COโ‚‚ reduction annually, projects like this highlight the real impact of well-executed electrical upgrades at scale.

TBG was awarded two subcontracts to deliver both the Electrical and Mechanical works for the redevelopment of the Leichardt Hotel in Rockhampton.
