Shoalwater House - Alterations and additions to a mid-century coastal bungalow.
We found joy in this home’s playful, rhythmic sequence of cross‑sections, where a broad planar roof hovered above a series of smaller dancing spaces.
Our main intervention is a new coda at the home’s western edge, an addition that moderates solar gain, frames key views and seeks to heighten legibility.
This was one of our last projects working with Pablo Proxy , a period during which we had great fun.
