There are a number of outages in the area today.
If you are a three phase customer and wondering why some parts or you home have power whilst other areas do not check the map as it could be because a phase is down and western power are working to restore.
7.30am UPDATE:
26 emergency response crews are out addressing more than 100 outages/hazards. Our network control centre has re-routed power to reduce the original 55,000 impacted customers down to the current 39,000.
The powerful winds caused by the storm front have thrown debris – including tree branches and a trampoline – into powerlines. If you see a fallen powerline or network damage, please to us on 131351 immediately.
A number of outages still have an ‘unknown’ restoration time as crews first address safety hazards (including investigation of causes/issues), then return to reconnect power.
As more people are staying at home during the current pandemic, we understand a power outage is not ideal right now, but please be assured our team is working to reconnect your power as quickly as possible.
