Norwest Contracting - NWCR Norwest Contracting (NWCR) started over 10 years ago in the Pilbara. NORWEST Contracting and Rail is an indigenous owned company.

We started on the mines but are now attempting to bring some critical trades to our Pilbara towns. Melanie was born in Port Hedland with strong family ties from the wider Pilbara Region. At NWCR we recognise that our people are the key to our success. Indigenous people were a key part of the rail construction from day 1 and we would like to now create sustainable employment opportunities for every

one going forward. We specialise in Rail Welding ( Aluminothermic / Flashbutt ) and Track Construction / Maintenance including turnouts. Owned, managed and operated in Port Hedland. NorWest Contracting and Rail are committed to providing a quality product safely, career developing our staff and have a strong customer focus. Collectively we have over 30 years experience in the rail industry. With experience gained nationwide we bring expertise to our clients, whilst mentoring local trainees to provide them with skills that will put them in good stead for their future. We are committed to assisting our clients to maximize production and increase efficiencies whilst always maintaining safety as our core value
