It’s not very often you have to replace a fence that’s only a year old!

Unfortunately, one of our clients was impacted by a fire over summer, which resulted in their fencing being burnt down.

Our team recently completed:
740m of pine posts & Griplock
330m of pine posts & 4 plain wires
Removal of the existing burnt fencing

A total of 1,070m of fencing replaced, getting the property back to where it needs to be.

Over the last few weeks, Ado and the boys have had the privilege of fencing at Arley Farm Speckle Park in the Harvey/Brunswick area.

With just over 8km completed to date, the crew have tackled a range of fencing runs including sectioning off lane ways, sheds, new paddocks, revegetation areas and sections running along the Preston River.

The job has run smoothly from start to finish, with the Arley Farm team installing the strainer assemblies ahead of us and having all materials and consumables ready to go on site — making for a great setup and an efficient few weeks.

We’re really happy with the outcome and the quality of the finished product, and we’re already looking forward to heading back for Stage 2!

AJ Bailey Contracting is looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our team.

About the role:

* Full-time position
* Long-term opportunity for the right person
* Immediate start available
* $32–$38 per hour (depending on experience)
* Work schedule to be discussed with the successful applicant.

Requirements:

* Manual driver’s licence essential
* Meet at our Karridale depot each morning before travelling to site in the company vehicle
* Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
* Able to use initiative and common sense
* Experience in rural fencing preferred but not essential
* Experience with power tools and chainsaws preferred
* Tractor and excavator experience an advantage, but not essential
* Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test if required

Completion of 1.5kms of post and grip-lock fencing with two plain wires, including one electric wire in Karridale.

Our team also completed 1km of clearing and removed 1.5kms of old fencing before finishing it all off with a quality post and rail feature. Another great result we’re proud of.

While our socials may have been quiet, the work definitely has not been.

We have completed the works at the Augusta Airport for the Augusta Margaret River shire. Consisting of 3.5km of vermin proof fencing with an apron, using warratah products. Running 2 hot wires, one above and one in the centre to ensure the kangaroos stay out of the runway. Ensuring everyone stays safe during landing and take off!
