Today the company offers a comprehensive range of services and products across our key service lines: civil construction, bulk haulage. We also supply and transport a range of quality raw materials sourced from Mowbray Quarry which the company also o

wns and operates. From its original base on Mowbray River Road, Mowbray near Port Douglas, the company relocated to Lower Cassowary Road, Mossman from where it now operates, though also opened an admin office in Townsville in 2013. Our Mowbray Quarry is conveniently located in close proximity to the main company headquarters. Our customer base extends Queensland-wide including the North Queensland region, Central Queensland, South-East Queensland and remote areas of Cape York, as well as the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Oakdare Holdings is a family owned and operated company led by Directors Wesley and Kristein Connolly. Sons Michael and Wayne hold division management positions within the company and are heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. As a trusted and reliable, family run company, we provide a customer-focused approach and are dedicated to servicing our customers’ needs and building long-term relationships. Since its inception, Oakdare Holdings has established itself as a reputable and professional provider in the market for civil construction and bulk haulage products and services. This is underpinned by our well-established internal management systems developed and perfected over time as well as our commitment to service quality and customer satisfaction. Oakdare’s operational base is located at Mossman, North Queensland just north of Port Douglas, and in early 2013 as a result of the need to better service our clients across Queensland, Oakdare opened its new administration office at Sturt Street in Townsville. ✨🫧 80 years of Brown and Hurley, and our P48 has brought home a trophy! 🏆🚚

A huge thanks to Brown & Hurley for a fantastic day celebrating 80 years with the Show n Shine!

Our Kenworth T658 took out the “No Time To Shine” category, and we reckon it’s a pretty fitting win. Built fit for purpose, with plenty of on-road credibility, plenty of kilometres under its belt and, most importantly, plenty of elbow grease to get it show-ready. 💪

It takes a team to get a truck looking this good, so a massive thank you to the Oakdare crew:

🚚Chris, our driver, for keeping it tidy day in, day out, despite some pretty unforgiving work conditions.

🛠️ Craig, in the workshop, for fitting it out with some fresh new bits.

⏳Mick, our Operations Manager, for coordinating the great shine-up.

🌭 Friday Staff BBQ & Toolbox Talk 🚛

Nothing beats getting the team together for a Friday BBQ! It was a great afternoon catching up over a snag or 2 while also taking the opportunity to learn something valuable.

A big thank you to Andrew Gill from the NHVR for joining us at the Roseneath Depot and delivering an engaging toolbox talk. Andrew covered some important topics, including pre-starts, mass limits, basic fatigue management (BFM), the new CML laws, and what it means to be fit to drive.

Keeping our team informed and up to date is an important part of maintaining a safe workplace and keeping everyone safe on the road.

Thanks to our crew for getting involved. We appreciate everyone who helped make it a great afternoon!
