We’re proud to announce the successful completion of the full electrical fit-out on Superior Energy’s Rig 48 — a newly constructed workover rig built right here in Gippsland.

This project is a milestone not just for Jones Electrical, but for local industry as a whole. Seeing such a critical piece of equipment engineered and assembled locally — by local trades, suppliers, and fabricators — is a testament to the capability and talent we have within our own backyard.

It was a privilege to be part of this rig from the ground up. From power distribution and lighting through to controls and commissioning, our team worked closely alongside other skilled contractors to deliver a fit-out that meets the demanding standards of offshore and remote work environments.
