After more than 20 years in the painting game, it’s time to close the door on this chapter of RS Painting & Decorating.
Running your own business is something I’ve always been proud of. It comes with a lot of pressure and responsibility, but I can honestly say I’ve loved it. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some incredibly talented builders and architects, and being trusted to bring their projects to life has meant a lot.
But the mental load, financial pressure, and physical demands of being on the tools while running a business have taken their toll. It hasn’t been an easy decision, but it’s the right one for me and my family at this stage of life.
They say when one door closes, another opens - I’m looking forward to what’s next and excited to step into a new role and new challenges (and hopefully a few less body aches along the way).
A huge thank you to all of my clients and builders who have trusted me over the years. These projects will always be something I’m proud to have my name on.
To the guys who worked alongside me the last few years and helped to grow my business - thank you.
To my wife, the self-proclaimed CEO of RS Painting - and honestly the one who kept everything together - thank you.
For the support, the patience, and everything you’ve done behind the scenes while I was working long hours… I couldn’t have done this without you. I’m looking forward to a bit more time at home (and your to-do lists)
