Creating an additional bathroom in a home, especially for growing kids, is both a practical and exciting endeavor. The new ensuite bathroom in Ferny Hills, which complements the existing main bathroom, is a thoughtful addition under the house, offering convenience and functionality. Here’s a closer look at the design and features:
👑 Design and Features 👑
1.Space Adaptation
- The bathroom is creatively situated under this Queenslander home , transforming a previously underutilized space into a functional and stylish area for the kids.
- Due to the depth limitations for drainage, a shower / bath was chosen, which blends practicality with comfort, providing both bathing and showering options.
2. Main Fixtures
- Shower Bath . The shower bath is designed with a folding screen. This feature is ideal for conserving space while maintaining a modern look, allowing easy access and convenience.
- Floating Vanity: The inclusion of a floating vanity not only adds a contemporary touch but also maximizes floor space, making the bathroom appear more spacious and easier to clean.
- Toilet : The back-to-wall toilet is a smart choice, contributing to the sleek and streamlined aesthetics of the bathroom while ensuring efficient use of space.
3. Aesthetic Details
- Subway Wall Tiles : These tiles give the bathroom a classic and clean appearance with an enduring style that complements various decor themes. Their horizontal layout enhances the room's width perception.
- Patterned Floor Tiles : The floor tiles introduce personality and vibrancy, providing a playful contrast to the subdued tones of the wall tiles. They add an element of interest and coziness to the space.
Overall Impact
This new ensuite is a thoughtful addition to the home, effectively addressing family needs by providing a dedicated space for the kids. The design emphasizes modern elegance and practicality, transforming what was once an unused area into a lively and functional part of the household.
