Not every day you have a client whose as creative as you are. With lots of concrete to demolish, why not build a wall out of it! Massive team effort on this one with fantastic people. Can’t wait for the grass seed to get going and some plants atop the wall 😊💪

Handy having a client with 200+ roses and a lovely bed of dahlias. Makes picking flowers for my girls a breeze. Manna Naidu you’re the best.

PSA! Do you have azaleas in part shade/sun? Hydrangeas that cop a bit of afternoon sun? Consider covering them with a sheet on these extreme days. Or if in pots, move indoors. Despite this clients best efforts taking exceptional care of her lovely azaleas. Watering daily with regular fertiliser. Friday 2 weeks ago when we got to 41 degrees with high winds, these poor azaleas just couldn’t cope. They should bounce back with a bit of love. But she is going to cover them with a sheet on Tuesday when we have similar conditions forecast.
If this has happened to you, leave the dead foliage on. It is unsightly but will prevent new, tender growth from getting burnt as it recovers. Remove dead foliage in early autumn 👍

Finished at fisken rd!…. For now. After three weeks of ripping out massive amounts of blackberry the basic shape of the garden is coming back to life.

Managing this dam bank with fire. Where access is an issue and a large machine would make more of a mess than anything else. Fire is the way to go!

Going the hack in Mt Helen! We’ve recently started a large property clean up in preparation for sale. Our job is to wrangle things back after being left for a few years. As we go, we are identifying and prioritising any issues the client need worry about.
