Q Power recently completed hardstand lighting infrastructure works at Colpak Heathwood, delivering a high-output lighting solution designed to support industrial operations, safety and long-term reliability.
This project included:
• New 63A three phase supply
• Energex coordination and metering
• Underground electrical and communications infrastructure
• 5 x 15m galvanised tapered light poles
• 10 x Haneco Parx 300W floodlights
• Lighting controls with PE cell, timeclock and manual override
• Testing, commissioning and final light aiming
Industrial hardstand lighting is about more than simply installing poles and floodlights. Proper light distribution, pole placement, underground infrastructure planning and future-proofing for services such as CCTV all play an important role in creating a safe, functional and compliant site.
By allowing for future communications infrastructure during the initial civil works phase, the client can reduce future disruption and avoid unnecessary rework costs as the facility expands.
