Southern Ceiling Repairs is a well-established and growing company servicing Bunbury, Mandurah/Rockingham, and the greater South West region of WA. Due to a significant increase in demand, we have an immediate opening for the following role:

1) Gyprock Fixer / Flusher

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated professional who takes pride in their work and values quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will be experienced, reliable, and capable of managing their own team with strong time management and leadership skills.

Southern Ceiling Repairs is situated in the Bunbury, Mandurah / Rockingham and the South West area of WA.
As a growing company and a with a huge increase in orders we have an "immediate" vacancy for:-

1) Gyprock Fixer / Flusher

We are asking for the right team member to join the ranks, someone who enjoys his / her role, is experienced and has pride in their work, someone who’s time management and overall professionalism is capable of running their own team.
In return you will have a great deal of automatism and be responsible for your own team members, you will have your own van and all equipment will be provided…… a higher than average wage is on offer for the right team member.

Initially you will replace temporarily, a long standing team member who is due a surgical operation and will be off long term ?
This time should be regarded as an introduction period during which all parties have the ability to assess each other’s likes, dislikes and suitability to become an effective contributing team member.
Should you choose and possess the right attitude there will be the offer of permanent full time work.

It’s been a while since we last posted anything as our installation schedules have gone through the roof! Excuse the pun!
So these beautiful customers were seriously concerned when their large Kitchen, Dining and Sitting room ceiling suddenly sagged almost 100mm.
This was serious and the ceiling at the point of immediate collapse?
We attended and removed the present ceiling which was an easy job literally taking 5 minutes with three areas collapsing…….
The pictures attached show the state of the joists, I will let you decide if this contributed to the ceiling’s demise?
Extensive work was carried out strengthening the joists and making them suitable to attached a new ceiling…..
The following pictures show the finished results 👌👌

Once again the price of Gyprock products has increased far more than the price of inflation? This time by almost 10%!
For the past three years we have worn these costs and not passed them onto the customer believing that ceilings and walls are expensive enough?
Sadly we cannot keep doing this and have to align our prices with the market?
For those wise customers who request a quotation and
accept it before September we will honour our present pricing structure , after which it will cost an extra 10%…… Sorry guys.
