💙 SHE’S GOT THIS | WOMEN IN BUSINESS 2026

Today Angie stepped away from the EHD factory and into a room filled with more than 110 women in business from across the Shoalhaven for the Shoalhaven Business Chamber’s She’s Got This Women in Business Conference at Kangaroo Valley.

And what a great day it was.

The theme was Money. Mindset. Momentum.

AND… there was plenty to take away from both of today’s guest speakers.

A special shout out to our fellow BNI member Miranda Packer, who delivered a fantastic presentation around leadership, values and being honest about what really drives the decisions we make in business and in life.

It was also pretty exciting to hear from and engage with Effie Zahos, 9News Money Editor and familiar face from the Today Show. With more than 30 years in financial media, Effie brought money and financial wellbeing back to real life, with practical insights that had the whole room listening.

But one of the best parts of the day was simply seeing so many local women in business in one room. Different industries, different stories and different stages of business, all sharing ideas, conversations and connections.

Our favourite Soap Box speaker today was without a doubt the amazing Ariane Sparkles who got her gear off and empowered us all! 👏🏻⭐️🙌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️

Angie is incredibly proud to be one of them and to represent EHD in our local business community. 💙

A huge congratulations and thank you to the Shoalhaven Business Chamber, and especially Letitia Manley, for the work that went into bringing today together. More than 110 local businesswomen in the room made for an incredible atmosphere and a very successful event.

Days like today are a great reminder that strong businesses aren’t built in isolation. They’re built through people, relationships, learning and community.

💙 WHAT A FEW MONTHS IT’S BEEN AT EHD…
Let’s do a recap!

Today’s post looks a little different.

We thought we’d take a look back through the camera roll at the last few months at EHD and, bloody hell… a lot has been happening.

Somewhere amongst manufacturing, selling and delivering a mountain of concrete sleepers, we’ve managed to squeeze in quite a bit of life and love for our team and community too.

There’s been steel posts, new signage, a new office bench, new EHD merch, trucks coming and going, Ross out on the road, early morning starts and plenty of hours on the factory floor.

We’ve kept manufacturing.
Kept delivering.
Kept improving our operations.
Kept developing new products.
And through all of it, our team has kept EHD moving.

But when we look back, it’s the people stuff that really stands out.

Team barbecues. Team chats.
Our training and values day at Callala Beach.
Angie presenting at BNI.
Supporting local footy.
The Bravehearts Book Fair at Pyree.

James turning the big 60 with possibly the biggest concrete sleeper birthday cake ever made. 😂

The boys giving us their finest rendition of YMCA.

And welcoming little Angus into the extended EHD family, with proud big sister Billy always looking right at home in her hi-vis on site!

Then somehow, amongst all of that, we headed along to the 2026 Shoalhaven Business Awards.

We were incredibly proud to take home Employer of Choice and Excellence in Workplace Health & Wellbeing.

And then came the one we genuinely weren’t expecting…

2026 Shoalhaven Business of the Year. 💙

Looking back at these photos, EHD has never just been about concrete sleepers.

It’s our team. Our families. Our customers.

The businesses we work alongside.

The local organisations we support. And the community that continues to support us.

So today, no big sales pitch.

Just a very big thank you.
