NATURE X NURTURE // Situated in Mawson with sweeping views to Mt. Taylor, this bold and refined dual occupancy has been carefully crafted with the unique site in mind. The living spaces complement the established flora and natural contours of the landscape, providing opportunity for seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor. The restrained exterior palette and gentle recesses allow the expressive white sculptural form to appear to float above, providing a quiet retreat from the ambient living spaces below.

This unique family home has been designed with a strong emphasis on creating a warm and inviting experience on arrival and throughout. Situated in Aranda, the home retains its natural setting, opening each room up to ample sunlight and leafy bushland views.

The complimentary choice of materials and the sculptural organisation of forms have been expressed in different ways. The heaviness of the brick is subdued, with gentle curves which aids to guide you through and a weightlessness with brick suspended above the entry. The charcoal ‘VJ’ panelling offers depth and allows the off-white brick to take centre stage and the natural spotted-gum timber provides warm accents and a welcoming address.

We're so pleased to be collaborating with Calvert Constructions on this exciting project - Watch this space!
