Ten years ago, I took a gamble. We loaded the family van, credit card in hand, and went all in. As I look back today, I can say it has been nothing short of amazing, not just for me and my family but for many people at Orbitz and our amazing customers who’ve been with us all the way. This journey has had its ups and downs but every decision I’ve made has always had you, our people and customers at the forefront.

That is why I’m thrilled to announce that we have decided to join KONE Australia Pty Ltd.

This includes our service business in Australia and all lines of business in New Zealand.
I will join KONE in advisory position and Shane Rogers will continue to lead the business in New Zealand.

This is a fantastic opportunity and one that I’m confident will open up a new world of possibilities for everyone.

A special shout out to everyone at Orbitz who have worked tirelessly to build and strengthen the brand in the market over these years.

I want to reassure our customers that it’s Business as Usual. Shane (Shane Rogers) and I are here for you.

With KONE's expertise and resources, I am confident that we will continue to exceed customer expectations and make a positive impact in the industry. This is just the beginning of an incredible journey, and I am energised and optimistic about what's to come!

On the night of 19th of November 2022, Orbitz Elevators was crowned the Annual Winner for the 2022 Professions and Services Award presented by the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards!

This is our 4th time winning an overall annual award from the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards and we are very grateful and honoured for the support and recognition from the committee.

Orbitz Elevators is proudly a Gold Coast established company, and we can’t thank all our stakeholders enough for the ongoing support over the years even through our UP’S & DOWNS 😉.

Orbitz Elevators is very proud to announce the appointment of Grant McNay (left) as the new Head of Service of Orbitz Elevators Australia.

Grant is an accomplished senior manager with over 30 years experience, working across a number of industries including the Vertical Transportation, Infrastructure and Water Technologies Sectors in Australia and the Asia Pacific. Grant's previous roles include Managing Director, Regional General Manager Asia Pacific, Group General Manager and National Service Manager with some of the largest known lift companies.

His wealth of experience is going to play a vital role in the growth and development of our service department whilst delivering operational excellence and leading the team to deliver high quality customer service to our clients.

Last week, Orbitz Elevators exhibited at the Self Storage Association of Australasia Convention which was held over 3 days at the Sheraton Mirage on the Gold Coast.

We showcased our premium heavy duty and high load capacity Hitachi lifts that are perfectly specified for new Self Storage facilities and developments. We have a loyal customer base in the Self-Storage industry, and we are very proud to have installed our lifts in many high profile storage facilities across Australia.

It was a privilege to meet and network with all attending delegates at the convention and we look forward to participating and attending upcoming and future events with the Self Storage Association of Australasia!

Feels good to be back!

Last week, Orbitz Elevators was awarded the September Professions and Services Award for 2022! The award was presented by the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards, the region’s most comprehensive and prestigious award scheme. The Professions and Services award recognises businesses that “demonstrate a passion for exceeding customer expectations and service excellence within the business and overall team”.

After the difficult challenges and adversity that the global pandemic brought upon us, this award means a lot to our business. We would like to thank our employees, our clients and all stakeholders of the business for your ongoing support as we would not be where we are today without you all.
