Rental Technician / Delivery Driver

We’re looking for a practical, hardworking person who enjoys machinery, takes pride in doing things properly and wants to build a future with Page Hire.
You might come from construction, arboriculture, farming, transport or another hands-on background. Your experience matters, and so does your attitude.
We’re a family-owned Tasmanian business with an expanding fleet, a strong pipeline of work and a new depot planned. There’s plenty to learn, plenty of banter and a team that backs each other.
The work includes:
• Washing, inspecting and preparing equipment so it’s clean, safe and ready for hire.
• Basic maintenance, equipment checks and keeping the yard organised.
• Delivering and collecting machinery using our tilt tray and other Page Hire vehicles.
• Helping customers with equipment collections and handovers.
You must already hold an HR licence or higher and have basic mechanical knowledge. No trade qualification is required. Our tilt tray is automatic, and we’ll train the right person in tilt-tray work.
We want someone who notices what needs doing and gets stuck in. Excellent attention to detail is essential: spotting damage, reporting faults and making sure equipment is properly prepared for the next customer.
You’ll need to be reliable, punctual, physically capable and comfortable getting dirty and working outdoors. You take ownership, follow things through, accept direction and are willing to learn. Everyone pitches in here. No job is beneath anyone.
