We are nearly at the end of Winter which means warmer weather is on its way and we already been completing a number of alfresco areas ready across the Macarthur region.

Today, we completed the fit-off of this newly installed outdoor kitchen in Camden Park.

The sweetest place in Camden!

We were so excited to work with Jarney Constructions to complete the plumbing works for the shop refresh Sweet Treats by Rhi.

Our role involved disconnecting and relocation of the hot water system to maximise kitchen space, rough-in of new copper pipework and drainage modifications, installation of a stainless steel wall-mounted hand basin with tapware, trigger sprayer tap, commercial dishwasher and two front-of-house hand wash basins. We also connected plumbing provisions for the coffee machine and commissioned all new fixtures.

New hot water system and a whole lot more space.

The existing 170L gas storage hot water system was successfully removed and upgraded to a new Rinnai B26 gas continuous flow hot water system.

The gas supply was upgraded to suit the new appliance requirements and the system was commissioned to provide 50°C temperature-controlled hot water throughout the property.

Having issues with your dishwasher draining?

There are a number of common reasons your dishwasher may not be draining properly. These may include:

-The filter is clogged
-A blocked sink waste
-A faulty drain pimp
-An installation issue.

Recently, we were called out to a home where the dishwasher was not draining correctly. Upon inspection, a blockage was identified in the 50mm sink trap, trap barb, and dishwasher waste hose, restricting discharge from the appliance.

Following the removal of the blockage, the appliance was tested with all drainage functioning correctly.

A recent sewer blockage repair. Following inspection, it was found that the existing sewer pipe had inadequate fall, preventing correct drainage and resulting in recurring blockages.

The affected section of the sewer was removed and replaced with new pipework installed to the correct grade to ensure compliant fall and unrestricted flow. All joints were securely connected and the excavation was backfilled following completion of the repair. The repaired sewer line was tested by running water through the system, confirming the line drained freely with no leaks or signs of further blockage. The sewer is now operating correctly with adequate fall restored.

Blocked drain? Here’s what you can expect when you call us.

1: CCTV Inspection
We start by conducting a CCTV camera inspection to identify the cause and location of the blockage. This allows us to accurately diagnose the issue before any work begins.

2: High-Pressure Jet Blasting
If suitable, we’ll use high-pressure water jetting to clear the blockage and restore flow through the pipework.

3: Secondary CCTV Inspection & Testing
Once the drain has been cleared, we’ll perform a second camera inspection and testing to ensure the blockage has been completely removed and the drain is functioning correctly.

If a repair is required
In some cases, the initial CCTV inspection may reveal a collapsed pipe, root intrusion, or damage that requires excavation. If that’s the case, we’ll walk you through our findings, explain your options, and discuss the next steps before any further work is carried out.

Have you checked your flexi hoses lately?

Flexi hoses are a common hidden cause behind water damage incidents. These braided hoses are often found under sinks, behind toilets and connecting taps to water supply lines. Over time, they can deteriorate and when they fail, they burst and that can lead to serious flooding and expensive damage quickly.

When checking, look for:
-Bulging or cracking
-Rust or corrosion
-Frayed wired, kinks, or twisting
-Damp spots along the hose
-Hoses that are older than 5 years
