🐣 Easter Holidays Are Here So Let’s Talk Pool Safety! ☀️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

With the Easter break here and families spending more time at home and around the pool, it’s the perfect time to make sure your pool area is safe and ready for the holidays.
Here are a few quick reminders to help keep everyone safe:

✅ Check your pool fence & gate - Make sure it’s secure, self-closing, and self-latching.

✅ Supervise at all times - Always keep a responsible adult actively watching the kids. Make sure there’s clear communication about who is on watch, NEVER assume someone else is!!

✅ Clear the area - Keep toys, chairs, and objects away from the fence to prevent climbing.

✅ Keep your CPR sign visible - It is a legal requirement in Australia to have a CPR sign clearly displayed in the pool area. Make sure it's up-to-date and easy to read.

✅ Store chemicals safely - Out of reach, out of sight, and in a dry, secure spot.

As we wrap up another awesome summer season, we just want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of our customers for continuous support over the last 23 years!

With the cooler months rolling in, we’re switching back to our winter hours:
⏰ We’ll now be closing at 5:00pm (instead of 5:30pm)
🚫 Closed on Sundays

Everything else stays the same!

We hope everyone has a great Easter, plenty of choccy and some well-earned time with family & friends 💛

Hi everyone,

After holding off on any price increases for over two years, we’ve had to make a small adjustment to our service call pricing due to rising costs across the board.

From 01/04/2026:
• Monthly service: $75 → $85
• Casual service: $95 → $105

This works out to only a small increase each week and we’ve worked hard to keep our pricing as affordable as possible while still giving you the same care, quality and reliability you know us for.

We appreciate your ongoing support! It means a lot to our small team and our little local business.

💧 Pool Tip Thursday 💧

Even if your pool looks clean, it’s still a good idea to brush the walls and steps once a week.
Algae and dirt can stick to the surfaces before you can actually see them, and brushing helps loosen it so your filter can pick it up.

Tip: Do it right before you vacuum or run your robot so everything gets cleaned up straight away. 👍

💧Spa Tip Thursday! 💧

Spa filters clog up fast thanks to hot water, body oils and sunscreen etc!

Rinse your filter every 1-2 weeks with a hose (between the pleats!) to prevent:
❌ Cloudy water
❌ Weak jets
❌ Heater issues

Clean filter = better flow + better sanitizing 👌

💧 Pool Tip Thursday! 💧

Not using a skimmer sock? Your filter is working overtime 😅

These fine mesh liners sit inside your skimmer basket and catch all the extra stuff such as hair, grass, palm fibers, bugs and fine dust before it hits your filter and pump.

✔️ Cleaner filter & pump
✔️ Better flow
✔️ Less maintenance

Just remember to empty them regularly so they don’t restrict water flow.

💧Pool Tip Thursday 💧

In full Queensland sun, an unstabilised pool can lose up to 90% of its free chlorine in a single day.

That means your pool can test fine in the morning and be almost chlorine-free by the afternoon.
Stabiliser (CYA) acts like sunscreen for your chlorine and without it, UV destroys it fast.
