✨ Laundry & Walk-In Robe Transformation ✨

This tired, outdated laundry has been completely transformed into a beautiful and highly functional space.

We carefully designed the cabinetry and finishes around the existing tiles, flooring and timber features. A good renovation shouldn’t make everything else in the room suddenly look out of place—it should bring the entire space together without creating unnecessary extra work or expense.

The laundry features:

• Premium fingerprint-resistant European acrylic cabinetry
• Polytec Taj Mahal benchtops
• 25mm Prime Oak Woodmatt open shelving
• Matching timber-look detailing running beneath the overhead cabinetry for a continuous designer finish
• Practical storage designed specifically for the available space
• Soft-close hardware throughout

We also removed the old walk-in robe and replaced it with a taller, better-organised white melamine fit-out.

The new robe includes soft-closing drawers, pigeonholes, generous hanging space, a dedicated long-hanging section and a full shoe-shelving cabinet. We also coordinated the painter so the completed room would feel fresh, clean and properly finished.

The result is two brighter, more functional spaces that suit the character of the home while providing far more storage.

Another complete custom joinery project finished for a lovely customer in St Leonards 🤍

This project included three separate areas, all designed to improve storage, functionality and flow throughout the home.

The laundry features Natural White satin 2-pack shaker cabinetry, paired with Polytec Boston Oak Woodmatt to add warmth and contrast. The design includes a practical timber-look benchtop, dedicated spaces for the washing machine and dryer, sink cabinetry, a tall utility cupboard, open overhead display cubbies and a hanging rail for freshly ironed clothes.

We also built a custom hallway linen and storage cupboard, neatly fitted into the existing opening. The Natural White shaker doors and brushed-metal handles tie it back to the laundry, while the adjustable internal shelving provides plenty of flexible storage for linen, appliances and household items.

The walk-through robe was created in white melamine and leads directly into the ensuite. It includes full-height cabinetry on both sides, multiple hanging sections, adjustable shelving, shoe storage and banks of soft-closing handleless drawers. The black shadow-line finger pulls add a clean, modern detail while keeping the overall finish light and streamlined.

Three different spaces, one consistent design—and a huge improvement in practical storage throughout the home.

Another beautiful vanity and laundry cabinetry project completed in collaboration with Fine Edge Bathrooms & Kitchens.

Designed with plenty of practical storage, vinyl-wrap profiled doors to match the existing kitchen cabinetry, and a stunning 40mm AC Stone benchtop in Alpine Snow.

A clean, timeless finish that makes excellent use of the available space.

🔥 A warm new feature for this beautiful living space 🔥

We recently completed this custom TV cabinet and fireplace feature wall, finished in a rich golden-brown stain and clear polish to complement the existing timber flooring.

The fireplace surround features quality white oak acoustic timber panels, carefully stained to match, along with custom floating shelves and warm integrated LED lighting.

This was a challenging build, but that made the finished result even more rewarding. What was once an empty corner has now become a warm and inviting centrepiece for the entire room.

We absolutely love how this one turned out—and, most importantly, the client loved it too!

This kitchen took a little extra time to get the design exactly right, particularly the back wall around the microwave and air fryer—but the finished result was absolutely worth it.

The new kitchen features:

• Polytec Botany Woodmatt handleless cabinetry
• AC Stone Snow White benchtops
• 45-degree finger-pull detailing
• Flooded Gum glass splashback
• Raised stone bar-back to help conceal the working side of the kitchen
• Soft-close drawers throughout wherever possible
• Internal drawer organisation
• Compact pull-out bins neatly fitted beneath the sink

The Botany Woodmatt cabinetry brings warmth into the room, while the crisp white stone keeps everything feeling bright, clean and modern.

Really happy with how the entire design now flows—from the appliance wall through to the long drawer run, sink area and raised bar.

✨ BEFORE & AFTER — CUSTOM WARDROBE TRANSFORMATION ✨

What started as two smaller back-to-back bedroom wardrobes has been completely transformed by the Exceptional Joinery team.

We closed off the wardrobe opening in one bedroom, opened the wall from the opposite side and combined the available space to create one large custom built-in robe.

By taking the cabinetry higher, we maximised every bit of storage space and created a much grander, more practical wardrobe featuring:

A true wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling statement piece. 🔥

This custom entertainment unit features beautiful Polytec Antico Oak Woodmatt, black Polytec aluminium-framed doors with clear glass, warm LED lighting throughout and black acoustic wall panelling behind the television.

Finished with streamlined shark-nose finger-pull handles, soft-close drawers and an open central cabinet, the entire unit was built seamlessly into the room for a clean, timeless finish.

What makes this project especially rewarding is the client behind it. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of transforming much of his home—and completing work for many of his family and friends along the way.

I’ve genuinely loved bringing every one of these projects to life. The continued trust, repeat work and recommendations mean more to me than I can properly put into words.

This custom-built workspace features Polytec Ecru Oak Woodmatt paired with Polar White Matt, creating a warm and timeless finish. The wraparound desk provides plenty of working space, while the floating shelves, built-in drawers, printer storage and brushed-gold handles bring the whole design together.
