Was it the cocktails or the career pathways that enticed 400+ university students to come? I guess we'll never know.

Our team joined over 25 other companies at the UTS Industry Cocktail Night, meeting the next generation of talent across construction and the built environment.

From career pathways and cadetships to getting that all-important first foot in the door, the questions were thoughtful and the ambition was clear.

It was a great opportunity to share what life at Renascent looks like, with our own team members sharing their journeys from university into real project delivery.

Here's to turning those big ambitions into real careers. A big thanks to UTS for bringing everyone together for a great night!

A second chance at a first impression for 459 Collins Street.

Works are officially underway at 459 Collins Street, Melbourne, where our Victorian team is delivering a major 2,500m² upgrade to reposition the building's arrival experience and everyday amenity.

Designed by WMK Architecture, the transformation spans the ground-floor lobby, atrium, external plaza and basement end-of-trip facilities, introducing upgraded finishes, contemporary amenities, new lighting, services and wayfinding.

The catch? The building isn't taking a break while we do it.

With tenants and visitors continuing to use the building throughout construction, the project calls for careful staging, coordination and a delivery approach that keeps disruption under control.

We're looking forward to bringing this vision to life for Artifex Property, on behalf of Juilliard Group, alongside Tango Projects and the wider consultant team.

Plenty of security checks and safety briefings.

Successful building projects at an airport are a lot like flying, only without the delays or turbulence.

Daily breathalyser testing. Weekly HSEQ audits. Strict permit systems. High-security protocols. Every decision had to keep people safe while keeping the airport moving.

Our team has completed the staged refurbishment of Alpha Building for Skyfields by Perth Airport, located outside of the terminals within the office park precinct. Transforming 4,400m² of corporate offices across three levels, the project delivered new workspaces, collaboration areas, meeting rooms, function space, upgraded kitchens, bathrooms and staff amenities.

Through four carefully planned stages, we created a workplace designed to better support the organisations occupying the building – including Arc Infrastructure, Department of Infrastructure and Transport, and Perth Airport corporate headquarters.

Big jobs. Small appetite for surprises.

At Westmead, that meant coordinating six clinical environments within a hospital refurbishment valued at $64m.

At IFM Investors, it meant delivering an 8,000m² workplace fitout on time and within budget.

At Kmart Group, it meant 18,182m² across eight floors, above a shopping centre still trading through Christmas.

There’s a lot to coordinate behind those numbers.
Services. Procurement. Staging. Trades. Stakeholders. And the people still using the buildings around us.

Bringing it all together takes a team that understands the scale of the job and the detail required to deliver it.

We didn't win the JWS Melbourne fitout. We just built it.

No tender, just a negotiated outcome between two long-term partners.

The result? Delivered two weeks ahead of programme and within budget.

For repeat client JWS, our Melbourne team has delivered their new workplace across Levels 15 and 16 of 8 Exhibition Street.

The 2,417m² fitout is all in the detail. Green stone, timber, leather, custom joinery and feature lighting come together around a standout interconnecting staircase with stone landings, timber treads and integrated LED handrails.

Getting it there took just as much work behind the scenes. Long-lead items were locked in early, structural steel was redesigned during delivery, and mechanical, electrical and AV services were carefully coordinated to keep the programme moving without compromising the design.

All within a multi-tenanted building operating under strict noise restrictions.

Repeat client. High-end brief. Another project delivered with the detail handled.

Demolishing part of a live school isn't just about taking a classroom down. It's about making sure learning continues while it happens.

That means planning noisy works around the school timetable.

Separating construction from students and staff. Coordinating every stage to minimise disruption and keep the campus safe.

Built to be noticed. And it was.

District Showroom in Subiaco was named a finalist at the MBA WA Awards, recognising a project where the detail really does do the talking.

Across 1,040m², the showroom brings together specialist cork flooring, Level 5 plasterboard, high-gloss finishes, bespoke joinery, feature lighting and custom architectural detailing to create a retail space designed around District’s furniture and design offering.

The finished space looks seamless. Getting there wasn’t. Structural rectification, remedial works, a new mezzanine and an evolving design all had to come together without slowing the programme.

The result is a showroom that feels considered from every angle, with the construction complexity sitting exactly where it should: behind the scenes.

Strong partnerships are built from one project to the next.

From the Fortis display suite on Kyabra Street in Newstead to our latest collaboration on Merthyr Road in New Farm, the relationship between Fortis and Renascent continues to go from strength to strength.

The Merthyr Road display suite featured here brings together premium natural stone veneers and bench tops, intricate mosaics and luxury finishes throughout, reflecting the shared attention to quality that underpins every project.

A fantastic design by DKO Architecture and another great effort from everyone involved.

September in Melbourne is all about footy. And no one does finals season like the Property Council of Australia, Victoria.

Renascent was a major sponsor for this year’s Footy Lunch and, like a packed MCG, the Palladium at Crown was filled with fans who were there for a good time.

With Tom Hawkins, Abbie McKay, Sarah Rowe and Jack Silvagni on the panel, there was plenty to argue about.

One number nobody could argue with: $44,350 raised for the Property Industry Foundation. Funds will support its work helping young Australians experiencing homelessness access safe and stable housing.

Like all but two teams, our eyes are now firmly set on next year and another tilt at September glory!
