Clearing the way forward at Wirths Tunnel, Harcourt.
MCM partnered with Coliban Water to remove significant fire-related debris from Wirths Tunnel, helping protect and restore vital water infrastructure.

This project could not have been completed without the help of Big Al's Water, Interflow , SJK Excavations, ISH24, Central Victorian Soil Testing, Oz Vent Consulting and LATH Projects

We're thrilled to have undertaken the structural engineering of the Central Victorian Motor Group showroom extension and office renovation in Bendigo. A huge congratulations and thank you to CBA Building Designers, BLR Construction, and our client Central Victorian Motor Group — your collaboration, professionalism, and trust throughout this project made all the difference, and we're proud to have worked alongside each of you to deliver such a striking result.

MCM retained much of the existing steel structure and footings to reduce waste and programme, introduced new steel fascia trusses to frame the feature parapets and expansive curtain wall glazing, and resolved some genuinely complex foundation conditions beneath the site — including a screw pile system extending up to 15 metres into the old Bendigo Creek alignment.

Late last year the MCM and CVST team came together to celebrate not one but two milestones.

1. We celebrated Josh Pugh being at MCM for 10 years - Josh has been with us pretty much from the start, pioneering the consulting division of the business and assisting in the growth and projects that MCM have undertaken. We're proud to share that McClure Civil Management has been appointed Project Superintendent for the Central Bendigo Mine Rehabilitation Project Groundwater.

This important initiative led by DEECA focuses on managing legacy groundwater issues from historical mining operations in Bendigo.

Led by Josh Pugh, our project team will oversee the safe delivery of a new pump station, pipeline, and treatment plant – key infrastructure that supports the sustainable management of underwater Bendigo and the health of Bendigo Creek.
