Looking for an experienced leading hand concreter to add to our team. Well organised business with ongoing work based on the Sunshine Coast. Predominantly exposed driveways for residential builders. Would prefer someone that is looking for a long term position with a small team who get in, do a good job and get home. Days are not overloaded. Paid on ABN initially. You will need to be able to read a plan, screed flat, finish to a high standard and have reliable transport. Drug and alcohol free sites. All levels of government last year acknowledged the imperative of housing supply with the establishment of the Housing Accord, and now there are real commitments on the table.

Governments across all levels must now implement the measures announced today as a matter of urgency.

Poured plain gray concrete to be resurfaced-covercrete.

Ross Grundy Floor Sanding & Polishing, is a small family run business based in (Westbrook) Toowoomba servicing all areas of Queensland.
For over 15 years we have provided services to rural and remote QLD. If you are someone who loves the country and travel isn’t a worry then this is a perfect career for you. We specialise in all aspects of floor covering and finishing with sanding and polishing as our main suit. Solid timber flooring, decking to specialist work such as installation and repair of timber, parquetry, vinyl, hybrid and concrete polishing. All of which you will learn and experience whilst working for us. No experience necessary but a willingness to learn and travel is a necessity.

To be successful you will need the following:

* White Card
* Basic knowledge of hand tools
* Commitment and enthusiasm
* Genuine interest in floor covering & finishing
* Ability to work away from home
* Strong work ethic
* 100% Pride in your work is a must.

Preferred but not necessary for apprenticeship depending on age:
* Drivers licence
* Own vehicle
(Labourer or Mature age apprentice must have these things)
Please include a cover letter with your application demonstrating how you meet the above criteria also including your hobbies and why you would like to start a career with us. There will be a 3 month paid probation period for apprentices to be sure this position suits you.
