⚡️Electrical Upgrade Done Right 🔥

The team has successfully complied another mains upgrade. This one had a few pieces to the puzzle -

✅ New power pole so the overheads wouldn’t be in a pool exclusion zone
✅ New 3 phase meter panel on the new pole to adhere to QECM
✅ Nee aerial bundle cable to existing switchboard to save the clients freshly landscaped front yard
✅ Existing switchboard upgraded to halve all circuits with electric shock protection

🎣 Let’s Go Fishing ⚡️

Today we are fishing down an internal wall cavity with a fishing line with a sinker attached.

This is a great alternative to a yellow tongue for getting cables down a wall cavity, it does not work when you have insulation in the wall!

⚡️Another Underground 🔥

The team has smashed out another underground instal for a new shed that has been build for a wellness centre!

⚡️SHOCKING 🔥

Today we were fault finding at a brewery as they had elements that were staying on even after isolating the control circuits. We found contacts that had melted together from over current. The elements are pulling 13.4A per phase and the contacts are only rated to 13A.

We will put another video out showing us fixing this issue to get the brewery functioning again properly without any safety issues

⚡️Project Update🔥

Our Gold Coast retirement village is coming along nicely, we are almost up to putting the bases in the ground for the pole lights at the bowling green. We have the switchboard getting built now and will be on-site within a month.

Looking forward to this project coming along.

Our Gold Coast project has started off wet but the team has smashed out 13 meter panels and lead ins to the houses.

We found this on a job that we visited for an oven replacement, the board was rusted through completely and needed some serious TLC.
