Carter and Sons Painting Family owned painting business with over 30 years experience. It runs in our blood. A family business, reignited.

Our story began in 1989 in Gisborne, New Zealand when Phil Carter, with a family to feed and a small town in desperate need for a paint job, launched his own business, Phillip Carter - Painting & Decorators. Now decades later, he's decided to reignite the family business in Australia, bringing the same level of trust and quality the Carter name is known for in New Zealand, down under.

Carter and Sons Painting recently changed the colour to all steel handrails, stringers and window frames behind the handrails to a rich Resene Paints colour called Blackout. The product we used was Uracry 404 Low Sheen acrylic urethane. This product has an eggshell finish suited to interior surfaces though still offering awesome durability.

Carter and Sons Painting recently gave this Studio a new and fresh modern look. This project was completed using Resene Paints SpaceCote Low Sheen on all walls and Flat to the ceilings. Colours used are Resene half Pearl Lustre and Blackout. The client is extremely pleased with her new look studio.

Another project this week was to prepare and paint this external wall and to provide a level of water proof protection. We repainted this using Dulux Acra-Tex Acra-Shield Low Gloss Membrane Coating, looks really clean and offers protection for a good 10 years.
