📣 Fire Ant Biosecurity Update – Glenview Turf and CT Lawns
In light of recent updates regarding a number of turf farms now falling within the Fire Ant Biosecurity Zones on the Sunshine Coast, we want to keep our community, customers, and partners informed.
Glenview Turf is, as of this week, among the farms included in these zones. However, it's important to note that since the detection of fire ants at Nirimba and Currumundi last year, Glenview Turf has proactively taken strong biosecurity measures. As a precaution, we immediately began applying approved treatments across our farm and significantly increased our on-farm surveillance efforts.
âś… To date, no fire ants have been found at Glenview Turf.
�We remain fully committed to protecting our farm, our customers, and our region from this invasive pest.
We will continue to follow all regulatory requirements and work closely with biosecurity authorities to stay ahead of any risk.
