✔ Smoke alarms in hallways and on every level of the home
✔ All alarms are interconnected (when one activates, they all sound)
✔ Alarms are photoelectric (AS 3786 compliant)
✔ Alarms are less than 10 years old
✔ Alarms are hardwired or powered by a non-removable 10-year battery
