We are joining the world's largest walk for a future without type 1 diabetes (T1D) at Coopers Lookout Park/Kawana Surf Club on Sunday 30 March 2025!

Why? Our son has been recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes so we want To help raise funds life-changing research aimed at improving lives and curing T1D.

Type 1 diabetes can strike anyone at any time, and 8 Australians are diagnosed every day. Diagnosis means a 24/7 fight with no break and facing an extra 180 decisions a day to remain safe and healthy.

Dad: Switchboards have lots of circuit breakers, but it’s safety switches that save lives. The risk is real. One safety switch may not be enough. Call your electrician to see if your home is safe.
