ASMR CONCRETING
This was a job I completed while I was living in Newcastle, and one thing I really learned was that the more I travelled around the country and threw myself into the deep end outside of my hometown, the more opportunities I found.
When you’re not familiar with an area, you really have to put yourself out there, meet people, network, and find different ways to market yourself. Platforms like Airtasker are huge in different cities, with small jobs constantly being posted, and that’s exactly how a lot of opportunities started for me.
I had actually completed a small concreting job across the road from this property, and a couple of people noticed the quality of my work while I was there. The couple of this property introduced themselves whilst walking their dogs, & asked if they would like a similar job completed at their property, and before long people were happy to recommend and promote my company on local pages through word of mouth alone.
I’ve worked hard for over two decades in the concreting & construction industry, and I’ll continue striving to produce the highest quality work possible while always finding new ways to grow. 🌱
Sometimes you really do have to step outside your comfort zone and leave the same town behind for a while, otherwise you can get stuck in a rut.
As hard as life has been at times, I’m genuinely grateful for the challenges I’ve faced because they’ve shaped me into the person I am today. I’ve done a lot of work from within, stayed inspired to produce the best quality product I can, and I praise God every day for giving me the opportunity to come back stronger, smarter, and grounded in truth!
