Sunshine Coast frontyard rescue! 😩➡️😍
Old timber fence collapsing, dragging the pool fence sideways, gate wouldn't even close properly—major safety headache!
We ripped it out and built a beast: concrete sleeper retaining wall + hardwood posts topped with premium Colourbond sawtooth infill fence. Modern, tough, and zero maintenance vibes.

🚧 Fixed a classic drainage headache!
The soil level beside the garage was way too high, blocking weep holes and causing nasty flooding issues inside.
We dropped the ground level, installed an AGI drain, backfilled with drainage gravel + geo fabric, and topped it with clean decorative stone for a tidy, long-lasting finish.
The AGI pipes into a 450mm stormwater pit strategically placed to capture not just our runoff but also the neighbour's groundwater. From there, the outlet pipe runs through the backyard to the rear stormwater easement.
Bonus: Those big rocks we dug up during trenching? Repurposed as natural retaining for the front bank cut—looks great and saves on materials!
This was the perfect job for our tight-access machinery—no drama getting in and out of narrow spots.
Problem solved, property protected, and looking sharp. 💪
Bonus future plan: The rear of the property will be turfed at a later date to complete the backyard transformation. Stay tuned! 🌿

Stage 1: Sewer Pipe Hunt 🕵️‍♂️ Using state-of-the-art CCTV inspection and a locator, we precisely mapped out the sewer lines to ensure zero surprises underground. Safety first!
Stage 2: Kayak Storage Extension 🛶 We cut and prepped a new pad extension right off the existing dwelling – perfect for storing those adventure kayaks securely and stylishly.
Stage 3: Stump Removal & Land Shaping 🌳💥 Said goodbye to a massive tree stump, then expertly shaped the land for a fresh concrete footpath wrapping around the home. Smooth, functional, and ready for that upgrade!

🌧️ EMERGENCY CALL-OUT – Sunshine Coast 🚨
Just wrapped up a nasty one: washing machine hose decided to let go and flood the laundry.
Because the hot water isolation valve was also faulty, the client couldn’t shut the water off → continuous leak → serious water damage to the laundry cabinets. 😬
We rocked up fast, isolated the mains, ripped out the dodgy old valve + both hot & cold hoses and fitted brand new hoses and a proper new isolation tap. Water off in seconds now, no more leaks, crisis stopped ✅
Client’s now onto insurance to get those swollen cabinets repaired/replaced.
Moral of the story: if your washing machine taps are old or stiff, get them checked BEFORE they cost you thousands. Takes us 20 minutes to swap and saves a whole lot of pain!

🌴 Sunshine Coast front yard – done and dusted ✅
Started yesterday, smashed the finish today. Solo the whole way:
🔥 Tore out the old garden bed that was clogging the weep holes
🔥 Graded it smooth and spot-on for drainage
🔥 Topped it with fresh premium soil
🔥 Fixed the dodgy downpipe
🔥 Edged, shaped and 100% ready for turf
Just over a day of non-stop work, zero team, zero excuses.
Looks miles better already and it’s not even grassed yet 🔥

Back on site today to wrap up last week’s CCTV findings:
✅ Confirmed Issue 1: A rogue star picket had punctured the sewer pipe, causing blockages.
✅ Confirmed Issue 2 (separate): A section of pipe had incorrect fall, trapping water.
Fixed both:
🔧 Cut out the punctured section + the backfall section
🔧 Installed new pipework with perfect fall
🛠️ Backfilled with sand and tidied up
While we were there, the owners mentioned a slow shower—we cleared the blockage between the floor waste and shower drain. Now it’s flowing freely!
Two jobs, one visit. Problem-solving in action. 💪

🚽 Toilet Rescue Mission Complete!
Tenants reported a stinky bathroom… investigation revealed the culprit: a completely deteriorated pan collar letting sewer gases escape into the room 🤢
While we were in there, we also spotted a rusty and slightly kinked flexi hose that was on its last legs.
Job done:
✅ Brand new flush pipe seal
✅ New braided flexi water connector
✅ Pan collar sealed with sanitary-grade silicone (temporary fix until the client upgrades to a new throne soon)
Bathroom now smells fresh as a daisy and no more unwanted sewer perfume!
Another happy landlord & happier tenants ✅

🚨 EMERGENCY SATURDAY CALL-OUT: Water HISSING Inside Brick Wall
👂 Customer heard the leak — a faint hiss inside the wall cavity.
🔍 Micro CCTV inspection — snaked through a tiny hole, located the source in minutes.
🧱 Removed bricks to expose the pipework.
❌ What we found:
Main leak on polybutylene pipe (split under pressure)
PLUS a non-approved, leaking bath waste (wrong material, poor joint, no compliance)
🔧 Cut out the faulty sections, replaced with approved PEX, resealed the bath waste properly — water back on same day.
📅 Back Monday to repoint bricks and restore the wall.
