Guenter Hediger is the principle of Ambience Homes and has been involved in the building industry for 30 years. Guenter learned the trade from his father, also a builder, who passed on many of the traditional skills as well as many innovative techniques. Over the years, Guenter has worked in both commercial and domestic construction. Many years have been spent working in the local area on both her

itage style and architectural designed homes. A cornerstone of the business has been Guenters hands-on approach, personally being involved in every project. He works closely with clients from the earliest discussions right through to the final handover. Guenter and his team have developed a reputation for quality workmanship, attention to detail and a “can do” attitude. We tend to work with a core team of tradesmen and use many of the same sub-contractors time and time again. We have found that this gives a consistent level of quality, our subbies are all aware of the high standards expected for all of our work. Being a small company allows us to concentrate on the smallest details of each project. Our belief in delivering a quality product has seen us involved with some amazing projects covering a broad range of styles and building materials, both traditional and contemporary. Some of our more challenging projects have been constructed from materials as diverse as straw.

Ever wondered why the builder discourages you from doing demolition work prior to a renovation?
Chances are that hes trying to protect you and your family from the dangers of asbestos. Asbestos is in so many components of your home that you may not even be aware of. Asbestos may be harmless until you start trying to remove it without taking the necessary precautions.
Have a look at the fact sheet from QBCC for more information

During the Christmas season its often the time people like to get out and use the variety of power tools they receive from Santa. Just a word of caution about renovating around the home if you're not 100% sure of the asbestos content. Even though asbestos was banned in 1980 - there are still many homes with asbestos containing materials. Check out the link to the QBCC fact sheet for more info. Please like & share to keep your loved ones safe this renovating season.
