QLD Smoke Alarm Deadline – Jan 1, 2027 🚨
By 1st January 2027, all QLD homes need photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms installed in every bedroom, hallways connecting bedrooms, and on each storey.
I’m Zack, a local Sunshine Coast electrician, and I’ve set up clear, fixed pricing to make this easy:
🔥 $110 per alarm – supplied & installed
- Photoelectric, interconnected alarms installed in your home.
📄 Free compliance certificate
- Included with any upgrade we perform.
✅ $150 check & certificate
- One fixed price per home to test existing alarms and issue a compliance certificate for sale or rent.
🧰 Qualified & insured
- ABN: 73 485 498 612
- Lic No: 1505312
If you’re not sure whether your place is compliant, I can check it and get you up to code before the deadline.
