Before & After 🔧

This veranda roof extension was originally just butted up against the gutter and sealed with silicon. Problem is, silicon doesn’t last forever and once it let go, water was tracking straight through into the veranda ceiling, the lights, the fans… the lot!

Swipe to see the fix: a proper flashing installed to tie the two roofs together. No more relying on a bead of sealant to do a flashing’s job. Fully waterproof, done right, built to last. ✅

I genuinely don’t know what the previous tradie was thinking… 😂

Someone had cut a hole straight into this gutter. Water was pooling, dripping right next to the house and causing mould. Not ideal!

We installed a spreader to properly distribute the water load across the lower roof, and redirect the flow away from the house to the outlet where it belongs. No more mould, no more damage. 💪

This is why you hire a proper plumber the first time 😄
