Bhamtech Data and Electrical

14/10/2026

There will no doubt be a random Bhamtech travel post now and then, because some things are too good not to share ...

100s of metres of cable being manually sheathed in conduit, with zero cable l**e. Essentially a reverse tug of war with all the associated grunts. Funny to watch 😁

Some customers have asked if we're posting about our current travels on this page.

Not this time, but Mrs Bhamtech writes our trip diary if any keen travellers want to follow along.

She takes the photos and captures the vibe of our adventures.

It's just a personal record, no tips or tricks as such, but we're happy to answer questions there if you want to know more about a particular place.

It's taken me a minute to write this because I've been genuinely humbled by the messages here, SMS, email etc.

Thanks everyone for your kind words, well wishes and encouragement. I'm grateful 🙏

This page will be mostly silent from here on but you can catch me via Bhamtech WhatsApp if needed.

Thank you, and farewell 👋

Team Bhamtech is leaving town ... destination unknown.

After 10 years providing data and electrical services in Sutherland Shire and Greater Sydney, we're heading off to visit some bucket list countries and then relocating interstate ... somewhere.

Who knows, we might reopen the Bhamtech doors in a new locale one day, but for now it's time for some adventures.

It's been an absolute privilege to come into your homes and businesses over the last decade, to sort out your data and electrical needs, to share stories, to connect as humans, even if briefly.

I've appreciated every moment of building Bhamtech and building our reputation for quality and honesty. I've been humbled by the feedback along the way and the countless word of mouth referrals. I've been grateful for every job, every review, every recommendation.

To all of my awesome customers, thank you for making this journey the brilliant experience it has been.

To my beautiful wife, thank you for kicking me up the butt to get started and for being there every step of the way.

I'm sad to close the doors here in Sydney, but I'm also excited for what's to come. We have some big things ahead and I can't wait.

For any future work you might need, I recommend:

- General electrical - Bits'n'Bulbs - contact Chris on 0438 520 557

- All security cameras - CGF Security - contact Chad on 0483 958 781

- Commercial security installations - Agility Security Group - contact Greg on 1300 25 25 26

- Data cabling, WiFi solutions etc, all electrical and security cameras - Link 2 Power - contact Risto on 0422 877 025

Also a note to thank Rhys Christopha, Harry Bogg, Ezra Manolo the phenomenal team at McGrath Estate Agents in Engadine for selling our home in challenging times. I cannot speak highly enough of this team - their professionalism, support, and most of all their integrity. These guys are a major piece of the puzzle in making this new chapter possible and we owe them everything for their tenacity and belief. Highly recommend!

So it's cheers to us for a decade of hard work and finally nailing our goals, and it's goodbye and thank you again to everyone who's been a part of our journey.

Ever grateful 🙏

As always, please remember to be kind to yourself and each other.

Greeted with these blossoms this morning. Nature rocks 🤟

Slow down, look around, breathe in, appreciate what you can ...
.. and reach out to someone, anyone, if you need support.

Let's be good to each other.

Blame the bunny ...

WiFi performance was sketchy. Relocated the bunny, moved the node out of the corner and voila!

(Also helped by a full system upgrade 😁)

And then I met you ...

As someone who had an absent father, I grew up not really knowing what a good dad looked like.

And then I met you, and had the privilege of watching you be all in with your boys. You are a wonderful, present, loving, fun, supportive, patient, guiding, always-available Dad and I admire you so much for that. You showed me what a great dad really is.

Happy Father's Day Mr Bhamtech.

And to all the dads out there ...
