An entire factory floor, shifting in sync with the walls around it. Here’s what caused it.
This factory complex wasn’t dealing with a single crack or one weak spot, it was widespread movement and misalignment across the tilt panel common walls and slab floors, affecting the structure as a whole.
The cause came down to the ground itself. Poor soil conditions beneath fairly shallow footings had allowed subsidence to build up gradually over time, pulling walls and floors out of alignment as the support beneath them weakened.
To correct it, we carried out multi-staged resin injection at every required location and varying depth, working to raise and relevel the footings, walls, and floor slabs together rather than treating them as separate problems. For the internal slabs specifically, we switched to our proprietary roadbase resin, built to lift and support large floor areas under real operational load.
The result: strong, consistent lift along the rear and common walls and footings, with ground conditions vastly improved throughout the complex. The internal floor slabs were relevelled to provide a flat, safe work floor for the businesses operating inside.
Commercial structures move too, and the fix has to match the scale of the problem.
