DA Approved
Thrilled to announce the DA approval of our latest childcare centre project within the Shellharbour City Council LGA — an 85 place centre designed to provide a welcoming, engaging and nurturing environment for future generations.
A standout achievement for the project was receiving approval with no RFI requests throughout the assessment process, while also progressing through the Design Excellence Advisory Panel without amendment — a testament to the collaborative effort between our team, consultants and client from the very beginning.
We’re proud to continue delivering thoughtful childcare environments that balance strong architectural outcomes with practical, community-focused design.

Our recently lodged childcare centre in Marsden Park has been thoughtfully designed to create a natural flow between indoor and outdoor environments. With direct connectivity from learning spaces to the outdoor play area, children can move freely, explore confidently, and stay engaged with their surroundings.
.
Careful planning ensures optimal solar access, bringing warmth and natural light into the space while enhancing comfort and wellbeing. The result is a vibrant, functional environment that balances play, learning, and amenity.
.
A place where design supports development—every step of the way.

Meet Enas
With over 25 years of experience in architecture, Enas brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to every project she works on. She began her career with the Baghdad City Council as a graduate architect, contributing to the documentation of historic buildings and the development of the Tigris riverbank. Since building her career in Australia, she has worked across DA, CC, and CDC approvals on a wide variety of projects, including single dwellings, dual occupancies, multi-residential developments, as well as commercial and industrial buildings.
.
For Enas, architecture is deeply connected to improving human well-being — physically, socially, and emotionally. She values attention to detail and thoughtful design, striving to create spaces that inspire creativity and reflect a harmonious relationship between people, buildings, and their surrounding environment.
.
She is known for her strong understanding of project requirements and her determination to overcome challenges through perseverance and hard work, always aiming to deliver the best possible outcomes.
.
Enas finds inspiration in traditional Oriental architecture, particularly designs that feature inner courtyards for privacy and protection from harsh environments. She is drawn to the use of elements such as water, light and shadow, intricate coloured glass, and detailed craftsmanship.
.
Looking ahead, Enas is motivated to continue applying her experience and design skills while embracing new building technologies and materials. She is inspired by her team, her clients, and even the challenges she encounters, seeing each project as a step closer to integration and perfection.

DA Lodged
We’re excited to share our latest architectural submission to council — a purpose-designed 155-place childcare centre positioned at the gateway to the Marsden Park residential precinct.
Envisioned as more than just a childcare facility, this project has been carefully designed to act as a focal point for the community — welcoming families, creating a strong sense of arrival, and contributing to the identity of the growing neighbourhood.
The project embraces a unique architectural form, giving the building a distinctive presence at this key location. A carefully considered palette of natural materials has been incorporated throughout, creating a warm, tactile environment that connects children to a more organic and engaging learning setting.
Through thoughtful form, scale, and materiality, the design balances functionality with a welcoming, expressive character that supports early learning while enhancing the streetscape.
We look forward to seeing this vision come to life.

Meet Steve.
Having completed TAFE in 1996 and commencing his career in 1997, Steve is now in his 30th year in the industry—a significant milestone reflecting his long-standing commitment to architecture.
He began his career working across residential housing and townhouse developments, and over time his expertise has evolved toward small to medium-scale commercial projects, where he continues to apply his depth of experience and technical knowledge.
Steve maintains a strong interest in the built environment, with a natural inclination to observe architectural styles, materials, and how structures respond to their surroundings. He values the integration of these elements to achieve cohesive and considered design outcomes.
A key strength in Steve’s approach is his ability to mentally immerse himself in a space during the design phase—carefully considering how it will function in everyday use. This ensures his designs are both practical and well-resolved, translating effectively into built form.
He draws inspiration from the work of Zaha Hadid, particularly her use of fluid forms and innovative geometry to create distinctive and impactful architecture.
Currently undertaking the AACA NPrA program, Steve is working towards becoming a registered Architect—an important professional goal he is actively pursuing.

DA Approved
We’re proud to share the Development Application approval for a 117-place childcare centre within the Campbelltown City Council LGA.
A key challenge for this project was the site’s significant 7m cross fall. Our design response carefully works with the natural topography—stepping the built form to minimise bulk and excavation, while creating seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor play areas.
Balancing functionality with thoughtful design outcomes, the centre provides a nurturing environment for children while responding sensitively to its surrounding context.
From site analysis through to approval, our team worked closely with stakeholders to deliver a design that meets regulatory requirements while maintaining a strong architectural identity.
We look forward to seeing this project come to life and contribute positively to the local community.

On the drawing board
We’re currently preparing a Development Application for a 144-place childcare centre in South West Sydney — a project shaped by both opportunity and complexity.
The defining constraint? A 6-metre cross fall across the site.
Rather than resisting the topography, the design embraces it — stepping the built form to follow the natural land, minimising excavation, and creating a series of connected indoor and outdoor environments that feel grounded in place.
This approach not only responds to the site’s physical conditions, but also enhances the experience for children and educators through layered play spaces, visual connectivity, and a strong relationship to landscape.
Thoughtful planning. Responsive design. Real-world outcomes.
Stay tuned as we take this project through the DA process.
