80km from Bondi to Manly. One bright hi-vis TradeMutt shirt. One massive statement on the back: "This Is A Conversation Starter."

On Saturday, 24th October, Justin took on the Bondi to Manly Ultra Marathon for Miles 4 Tradie Mental Health (M4TMH).

This effort was about much more than crossing a finish line. Through M4TMH, our goal is to raise $50,000 for TIACS—an incredible service providing free, direct mental health counselling to Australia’s tradies, truckies, farmers, and their loved ones.

In an industry where toughing it out has been the norm for too long, wearing the loud shirt starts the conversation—and TIACS is there when someone needs to talk.

The kilometers are in the books, but the fundraising mission continues.

We just wrapped up this beautiful patio roof replacement in Frenchs Forest, upgrading the space with new translucent panels that bring incredible natural light to this poolside deck. I want to share a project we’ve been working on behind the scenes at CBI Construction: Miles for Tradie Mental Health.

As a builder, director, and father, I know the pressure on site is real. In Australia, we lose over 200 tradies to su***de every year—a worker in construction is 6x more likely to die from su***de than a site accident. That’s why I took our industry’s high-vis shirt from the job site to the pavement.

Last weekend at the Sydney Marathon, I put down a 3:03 time in full TradeMutt x TIACS high-vis to make a statement: we’re competing at the sharp end to get the country talking. Alongside my mate and Crew Chief Karol Krygowski, we’re taking M4TMH to the US for the Tahoe 200 (a 322km ultra) to raise $50,000 for TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter). Every $100 funds a full counseling session for a tradie in need. Website launching soon—in the meantime, follow for the latest updates & ways to get involved!
