This series of multi mount Electric Motors in lightweight aluminium frames are widely used across industry in an extensive range of applications where conditions do not require a heavy duty Cast Iron frames. The motors, manufactured to IE2 / MEPS2 High Efficiency standards and are suitable for most applications including Pumping, Air movement, Geared motor drives, Air Compressors and other such equipment especially when portability is required.

EMT OMEC is proud to be one of Australia’s longstanding Electric Motor companies having withstood the test of time for over a quarter of a century.

EMT OMEC commenced operations as Electric Motor and Transmission Pty Ltd in Sydney, Australia back in 1990. The business was originally established to service industry needs for maintenance, overhaul and refurbishment of rotating electrical machines including Electric Motors, Geared Motors and Generators. Over the decades our business has enjoyed consistent growth leading to the business that we are today.

Today EMT OMEC is part of an international group of companies and an Electric Motor manufacturer in its own right. Our product range whilst still including the original repair and service capability now extends across a wide range of EMT OMEC manufactured Electric motors, Geared Motors and Variable speed drives. Our in house engineering facility enables us to provide extended site based maintenance, installation and plant upgrade work scope, servicing Motors, Pumps, Fans, Generators and most other rotating electrical plant, effectively making EMT OMEC a one stop shop environment.

In keeping with our policy of providing the highest level of service EMT OMEC now also ISO 9001:2015 accredited continues to supply high quality products and services to our clients backed by our long entrenched safety and quality focused culture that established the company’s reputation so many years ago.

This Premium IE3 series of incredibly robust Hi Efficiency Electric Motors in durable Cast Iron frames have been developed to meet the needs of discerning clients operating within an energy environment of increasing complexity where energy utilisation economics are driving technological product advances, and by default purchasing decisions relating to total cost of ownership. This IE3 series of Premium Electric motors is designed to meet such needs and include many features over and above what you would expect to find in more general purpose industrial motors. We are so confident that our M3 heavy duty motor series will outlast most, we offer a 3 year standard warranty period.
