🚨 BLOCKED KITCHEN SINK? HERE’S WHY… 🚨
We were recently called out to a blocked kitchen sink that wouldn’t drain.
After taking the trap apart, we found the culprit… solidified cooking oil. 🫣
Although the oil was poured down the sink while it was hot and liquid, it quickly cooled inside the pipework, turned solid, and completely blocked the trap. The result? A backed-up sink and an unnecessary plumbing bill.
💡 Remember:
❌ Don’t pour cooking oil, grease or fat down the sink.
✅ Let it cool, pour it into a container, and dispose of it in the bin.
A simple habit can save you from expensive blockages and keep your drains flowing freely.
