Jane Bennett, a celebrated plein air painter, is renowned for her depictions of Sydney's abandoned industrial sites. Winner of prestigious awards, including the Wynne Prize, her art captures the essence of urban renewal. She recently contributed to Mann’s ETP project with paintings showcasing the Four sites in Pyrmont East & West, and Hunter Street East & West, also featuring Mann's tower cranes. Bennett's work provides a poignant visual narrative of Mann’s constantly evolving ETP project.

Though sections of the WestConnex are still under construction, in 2016, Mann Group conducted large amount of the initial works that paved the way for the future 33 kilometres of motorway. These works consisted of removing numerous commercial and residential buildings, salvaging heritage items, and the demolition of obsolete infrastructure including the Iron Cove link, the White Bay substation, and the Victoria Road pedestrian bridge. Due to the proximity of neighbouring residential and commercial buildings, as well as the main road, Mann Group had to implement strict safety measures, respite periods, dust controls and take initiatives such as manual deconstructing of structures along Victoria Road to ensure a successful completion for all stakeholders.
