Small flooring job. We glued down this floor. Here are some pros and cons for gluing the floor down vs Floating floor.
Pros - Glued wood floors are much more durable and feel stronger underfoot. Because it is bonded to the floor, the end result is extremely sturdy.
- Glued floors are considered a more stable way of fixing and are preferred if the floor is going to last for decades.
Cons - Your flooring will likely take longer to install because there is more work involved in gluing the flooring down. You also will not be able to use your flooring right away, as you will need to let the glue dry.
