An outstanding example of leadership, ownership and security excellence from Saad—building a culture where safety and compliance come first.

Today's featured Security Officer in celebration of is Saad Ahmed Siddiqui, from Ultimate Security in Wingfield, South Australia.

Thanks to Saad’s clear ownership and leadership, the site staff and management now benefit from a robust, deeply embedded security culture where all potential risks to the facility are entirely neutralised.

He drives this high-standard environment through a powerful security and compliance mindset. Rather than settling for the status quo, he consistently thinks outside the box and challenges legacy processes that might introduce vulnerability. By collaborating tirelessly with his security peers, the client, and external contractors, Saad ensures that complex facility processes are strictly adhered to and that the entire site remains seamlessly locked down on a daily basis.

Today is about taking a moment to recognise and appreciate the people at the heart of what we do.

To every security officer and every member of our team who shows up each day ready to help, protect and make a difference - Thank You.

Much of what you do happens quietly, often without recognition. But your commitment gives people confidence, creates safer workplaces and helps communities feel secure.

Your professionalism, resilience and dedication never go unnoticed - and today, we want to make sure they are properly acknowledged.

Happy International Security Officers’ Day.

To all our Ultimate Security guards, and those in the industry.

An exceptional display of courage, composure and professionalism from Ali—protecting people when it mattered most.

Today's featured Security Officer in celebration of is Muhammad Ali Qureshi, Security Officer for Ultimate Security, at Adelaide Airport, South Australia.

Ali successfully safeguarded facility staff from imminent physical harm during a high-risk security breach, maintaining absolute calm across the site and earning an outstanding commendation from the client for his operational response and reporting.

Faced with an unauthorised vehicle breach, he leaped into action with exceptional speed and composure. He immediately intercepted facility staff to prevent them from walking into danger, keeping them secure inside while simultaneously coordinating with his security colleague to lock down the opposite side of the facility. Throughout the crisis, he maintained a safe buffer zone, kept himself positioned securely, and provided clear, precise communications to staff, management, and emergency services.

Ali's flawless post-incident documentation provided the client with a clear and precise record of the event.

Help was already on the way. Someone just needed to know they weren't alone.

When a panic alarm went off at a client's site, Julie Churchill, Monitoring Room Operator, immediately called the site to assess the situation. She learned that a group of youths were abusing staff and vandalising the property.

She dispatched emergency services immediately - then stayed on the line, relaying real-time updates to police and keeping the staff member calm until officers arrived.

Behind every response is constant communication, teamwork and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

For Julie, that's what makes the role so rewarding - knowing that her actions can genuinely help people, whether it's providing reassurance or responding to an emergency.

No two shifts in our Monitoring Centre are the same - alarms, inbound calls, dispatch, troubleshooting - As Julie describes it, a Monitoring Centre Officer is: "The calm voice people can rely on to keep themselves, their family and their property safe."

This month, in celebration of International Security Officers' Day, we're putting a spotlight on the people behind the scenes, who constantly show us what it means to go above. Thank you Julie and our monitoring team for setting the standard.

Every seamless transition is built on months of invisible work.

We recently completed a successful handover to a new national operation — not by chance, but through rigorous planning, disciplined ex*****on, and unwavering coordination across every stakeholder involved.

From detailed transition frameworks and risk mitigation strategies to on-the-ground alignment and real-time problem solving, this milestone reflects the depth of preparation and commitment required to get it right the first time.

A true collective effort, we brought together our client, partners, and operational teams with a shared focus on precision, accountability, and continuity. Transitions of this scale demand more than intent; they require trust, clarity, and the ability to execute under pressure.

Thank you to everyone who played a role in delivering a seamless transition. We’re proud to carry this momentum forward - continuing to deliver certainty, stability, and excellence where it matters most.

Every year, we look forward to supporting Hungry Jack's and their ongoing partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation — and this year was no different.

For more than two years, we have proudly supported this meaningful cause, helping to put stars on the wall and contribute to the life-changing work Make-A-Wish does for critically ill children and their families across Australia.

Our Major Account Manager, Moe Mohamad, also took part in the annual ‘In Your Boots Day’, spending time alongside the Hungry Jack’s team, rolling up his sleeves in the kitchen and gaining firsthand insight into their operations.

Working alongside a team that is passionate about both its people and its community was a great reminder of why this partnership is so important to us.

We are proud to play a small part in supporting a cause that brings hope, strength and joy to children and families across Australia.

Last Friday, our team came together for a Traditional Aboriginal Smoking Ceremony in recognition of National Reconciliation Week 2026.

A practice dating back over 60,000 years, the ceremony used native plants and traditional chants to create a moment of reflection, connection, and respect for Country and culture.

In an industry focused on protecting people, it was a powerful reminder that connection matters — to Country, to culture, and to one another.

This year’s theme, “All In,” encourages us to show up and contribute in our own way. It was a meaningful step for our team.

We thank the Traditional Custodians and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

When it comes to reconciliation, we are All In.

It calls on our team to move beyond words and step into meaningful action—whether that is by listening deeply to the truths of our history, challenging old perspectives, or actively championing inclusivity within our daily operations. Every conversation and every step toward education counts toward building a fairer, safer, and more respectful society.

The journey toward reconciliation is ongoing, and it is a path that belongs to all of us. Ultimate Security is fully committed to doing the work, fostering genuine workplace unity, and walking side-by-side with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today and into the future.
