Shower storage might not sound exciting, but it’s one of those decisions you’ll be grateful you got right every single day. Lately, more of our clients are choosing a full-length shower ledge over a traditional recessed niche, and we completely understand why.
So how do you know which is right for you?
Go for a ledge if you want more storage, love a clean and modern look, or have a busy family with a lot of products between you. That single continuous line across the wall feels calm and architectural, gives everyone room for their things, and it’s so much easier to wipe down than the fiddly corners of a niche.
That said, a niche still has its place. If you’re tight on wall space, or you want a subtle little feature moment (especially with some soft lighting inside), it’s a lovely, space-saving choice.
