It’s been a minute since my last post! It’s been a busy start to the year. First up was building this deck in Annandale so my lovely client could enjoy her backyard. It was an unusable space with grass that just didn’t grow. So I built a deck coming straight out from the back door and created a space she can use

Getting this job completed just in time to wrap up 2025 - and what a way to finish the year 💪✨

This project involved installing new brick piers, replacing all framing, and half-scarfing the existing posts where rot had set in at the base. We then laid stunning 86 x 19mm Spotted Gum decking, finished with Cutek CD50 oil with a GoldTone tint added for long-term UV protection.

As 2025 comes to an end, we just want to say thank you. The support we’ve received this year has been incredible. As an all-female team working in a male-dominated industry, your trust, encouragement, and backing truly mean the world to us. It’s made doing what we love not only possible, but genuinely joyful.

Here’s to closing out the year strong -  and onto an even bigger 2026 🛠️💛
