In 2022, the construction industry rebounded from the closure of construction sites brought on by Covid-19, but more challenges arose.

We started using Procore in July 2021 after deliberating for some time on what to do. It's a great product and service, but one that is not designed exactly for us as consultants. Instead, it is more tailored towards building owners, builders and contractors.

Despite this, we saw the potential and made the leap. We've made the platform work for us, adapting the different project level tools to suit our needs. For example, we use the Inspections tool to complete on-site inspections on the iPad. We can then raise Observations from the defects identified during the inspection.

We have more improvements to make and are tweaking it constantly. Anyone who has rolled out a software change before would know how difficult it can be and the challenges typically faced. We've seen a lot of benefits so far with Technologies and will keep persevering!

Phil, William, Linda and Pete gave the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge a go for the first time representing CSI last night. It was a 5.6km run around Centennial Park in Sydney and over 6,000 people entered.

Everyone survived the run and beat their goals set for it. It was a great night all around and they look forward to doing it again.
