Please help us reach our goal of $80k ! We set foot off tomorrow morning for sunrise on top of ‘Big Red’ (original name Nappanerica) stands well over 30 metres tall and is part of a series of around 1,140 parallel sand dunes stretching across the Simpson desert… 32 kilometres for day 1!

What’s Ahead
Over 9 days, Pat and I will trek through sand dunes and scorching temperatures, from 0°C at night to 35°C during the day – battling flies every step of the way. We’re doing it because I’ve seen firsthand how life-changing Youngcare’s work is. You can learn more about their mission here: Youngcare Website

For nine incredible days, we'll be taking on the adventure of a lifetime, where we will be taken out of our comfort zones, to raise much needed funds and awareness for young people with complex and permanent physical disabilities.

Disappointingly, thousands of young people with complex physical disabilities are being left behind in either inappropriate housing or instutions? It's simply because there has been nowhere else for them to go.

Youngcare is fighting for freedom, dignity and choice for young people with complex and permanent physical disabilities to choose where they live, who they live with, and how they live their lives.
