Project Complete | Leppington Childcare Centre ✅

Proud to deliver this architecturally designed 92-place childcare centre in Leppington — one of the biggest projects we’ve had the pleasure of bringing to life.

This massive build features a 30-car underground basement, beautifully designed indoor learning spaces, and a huge outdoor play area where kids can explore, learn, and grow. Every detail was carefully considered to create a space that truly serves the Leppington community for years to come.

A huge thank you to every single person who played a role in making this one happen — from the first sod to the final finish. This one’s for the books. 🙌.

Kanwal Public School | HVAC & Infrastructure Upgrade

AFA are currently delivering a comprehensive services upgrade for School Infrastructure NSW at Kanwal Public School, improving comfort, functionality and long-term performance across the campus.

Stage 1 includes the installation of 16 new split-system air conditioning units throughout classrooms and administration buildings, along with over 200 metres of new overhead electrical cabling, a mains power upgrade and new distribution boards to support the expanded electrical capacity.

With these works progressing well, we’re now preparing for the next stage, which will see the design and construction of four new covered walkways across the school.

Completed roof replacement works at the Newcastle Memorial Park. ✅

This commercial remediation project was delivered with a full strip-out and replacement completed in just 1 week, ensuring minimal disruption while maintaining a high level of workmanship and site coordination.

Fast-track delivery, detailed planning and experienced trades are what allow AFA to consistently deliver remediation and upgrade projects efficiently across live environments and operational facilities. More commercial remediation works coming soon.

Our jewellery store extension and fitout is coming together with premium marble finishes, custom detailing and refined gold accents throughout. A clean, elegant space designed to match the calibre of the brand.

✅PROJECT COMPLETE✅. Sandgate Memorial Park extension in Newcastle, delivering durable, trafficable pathways and structural beams designed to stand the test of time. The project involved approximately 100m3 of concrete and precision-installed screw piles, ensuring strength, stability, and long-term performance. 🚨PROJECT COMPLETE🚨 Design and Construction of Custom Covered walkway and Awnings. Works included supply and install of play equipment and new concrete slab/ pathways and landscaping. Perks of using AFA is our in house design team tailors and understands both build-ability and functionality. All steel welded onsite and installed during the summer school holidays to minimise disturbance to the school and all stakeholders.

KINGSWOOD COMPLETION IMAGES ✅ take a look at our recently completed childcare extension and renovation in Kingswood. Our scope included an expansion to an existing childcare centre to increase from 56 kids to 96!. Works also included renovation to the existing centre and full playground upgrade. 🚨PROJECT COMPLETE🚨 Another successful delivery by AFA Design & Construction at Ellison Public School. This project involved the replacement of over 700m² of roofing and ceilings, complemented by lighting upgrades and fresh painting throughout. Not an easy job by any stretch…working within a live school environment requires a high level of expertise, careful planning, and strict safety measures to ensure minimal disruption to students and staff.
