The language of interiors is evolving with richer materiality, considered colour and sculptural forms leading the conversation.

Trends may inspire, but the best spaces always have a point of view.

Take what resonates. Make it your own 🤍

From palette to place.

A study in warm neutrals, natural timber, softly veined stone and tactile finishes... translated from the moodboard into a space that feels calm, cohesive and quietly refined.

Because a considered interior begins long before the final styling. Every material, tone and texture has a role to play ✨

Where architecture becomes art.

For the Chamberlain Residence, ultramodern living takes on a more sculptural language - fluid forms, sweeping curves and bespoke glazing creating a home that feels as expressive as it is considered.

But behind the drama is thoughtful design: privacy, adaptability and functionality carefully integrated across four levels to support the family now and into the future.

Bold in form. Personal in experience. Designed without compromise.

Different projects. Different stories. But there are a few things you’ll almost always find in an LG interior.

Materials with character. Lighting that creates atmosphere. Something bespoke. A little unexpected tension. And above all, a strong sense of place.

Not a formula, simply the details and principles we return to when creating spaces with personality, purpose and longevity.

Consider it our design language 🤍

Where does architecture end and interior design begin?

It’s a question I think about often and perhaps the most successful spaces are the ones where you can’t quite tell.

Architecture gives us the framework: proportion, volume, light and movement. Interiors bring that framework to the human scale through materiality, tactility, function and atmosphere.

But neither should exist in isolation.

As Archtober puts architecture back into the conversation this month, it’s a timely reminder of the value of collaboration across disciplines - particularly as we think more deeply about resilient, inclusive and human-centred spaces.

Because people don’t experience a building one discipline at a time.
They experience the whole.

With Design Week México underway, I’ve been thinking about how deeply Mexico continues to influence the way I see design.

I grew up surrounded by a culture unafraid of colour, pattern, craftsmanship and expression. A culture where objects carry stories, materials have meaning and heritage is something to build upon rather than leave behind.

It taught me that contemporary design and tradition don’t have to exist separately. Some of the most interesting ideas emerge when the two are allowed to speak to one another.

That feels particularly relevant during this year’s Design Week Mexico, as conversations around global perspectives, traditional craft and contemporary practice take centre stage.

My work may take me around the world, but that sense of cultural storytelling and emotional identity will always be part of how I approach design.

Mexico will always be part of my design language 🇲🇽🤍

Today marks World Architecture Day, and this year’s theme: Housing is a Human Right. Build It.

This years theme is an important reminder that architecture carries a responsibility far beyond aesthetics.

For us, great design has always started with people.

Whether we’re designing an individual residence, a multi-residential development or an entire community, the questions begin long before materials and finishes: Who will live here? How will they move through the space? How can it support the way they live, connect and evolve?

As our cities and communities continue to change, thoughtful architecture has an important role to play in creating places that are resilient, sustainable, inclusive and deeply considered.

Because ultimately, we’re not simply designing buildings.

We’re designing places for people to call home.

Happy World Architecture Day 🤍

Currently loving: form that refuses to be ordinary.

The Freeform Lounge Chairs by Studio Lukas Cober for Objects with Narratives blur the line between furniture and sculpture. Fluid, folded silhouettes meet a rich brown glaze, creating a beautiful tension between movement, material and form.

Functional art, sculpted to sit... a reminder that the most memorable pieces are often the most unexpected.

Every finished space begins long before you step inside it 🤍

An idea becomes a sketch. A sketch evolves through detail, materiality and form - each decision bringing the original vision a little closer to reality.

It’s a process of refining, resolving and translating what exists on paper into something you can see, touch and experience.

From drawing board to reality.
