Arc is defined by a deliberate duality: grounded in Sydney’s past, while reaching towards its future.

At street level, layered brick arches respond to the scale, materiality and character of the surrounding heritage buildings. The architecture feels substantial and familiar, embedding the tower within the history of its streetscape.

Above, the expression shifts. A contemporary tower rises from the masonry base, crowned by sculptural arched ribs that shelter the rooftop amenities and create a distinctive silhouette on the Sydney skyline.

The arch becomes the connection between the two: transitioning from masonry to structure, from substance to lightness, and from the city at ground level to the open sky.

Rather than choosing between old and new, Arc brings them into dialogue, respecting the character of its place while confidently shaping the future of Sydney’s skyline.

The architecture is experienced through moments: sunlight filtered through leaves, views framed by treetops and the changing atmosphere as day turns to night.

At Tree Apartment, interiors are designed to feel open, calm and closely connected to nature. Living spaces extend towards private balconies, while the bathrooms and central stairwell open to the outdoors, dissolving the boundary between inside and out. A shared rooftop brings residents together through communal amenities and views to the Sydney CBD.

Through light, outlook and a seamless relationship between private sanctuary and the natural world, Tree Apartment brings a more human experience to urban living.

Tree Apartment is a nine-storey (18 apartment) residential development in the inner-urban suburb, Surry Hills.. The building's façade evokes the delicate verticality of a forest, with slatted screens that filter dappled light reminiscent of sunlight through a tree canopy. This interplay of light, shadow and texture fosters a sense of serenity, transforming the urban experience into one of connection with nature.

Trinity Point (Lake Macquarie, NSW, Australia) was designed to be both iconic and understated.

Balancing a strong architectural identity with a sensitive response to its setting, the curved form draws inspiration from the neighbouring Watagan Mountains and contours of Lake Macquarie. This natural geometry is carried through the earliest sketches and into the final architecture, shaping six recognisable buildings that appear to rise from the peninsula.

Positioned at the end of a natural peninsula and surrounded by Lake Macquarie on three sides, Trinity Point is conceived as a landmark mixed-use destination bringing together residential, hotel, hospitality and wellness experiences.

The masterplan comprises six sculpted, hill-like buildings shaped in response to the waterfront and surrounding landscape. Four accommodate residential apartments, while the remaining two bring together a hotel and serviced apartments, restaurants, a pioneering science-led wellness centre, pools and a function centre.

"The Brisbane lifestyle is enviable and unique, and we wanted to celebrate the sub-tropical climate and natural landscape with Upper House, which is designed to breathe," says Koichi Takada.

Easily identified by the architectural “roots” of the façade and natural timber pergola at the rooftop, Upper House’s form references the buttress root system of the native Moreton Bay Fig (Ficus macrophylla).

Upper House delivers 188 luxury apartments inside expressive architecture that places a strong emphasis on the importance of nature for wellbeing and a focus on holistic wellness.

A double-storey Wellness Club and resident social facilities called Upper Club, span two premium rooftop floors. Over 1,000m² of world-class amenities are designed with wellbeing at their core – fostering interaction, building community and supporting residents' physical and mental health.

3,544 tropical plant species were carefully selected for their ability to thrive in the local climate, ensuring a resilient landscape and mini ecosystem that adds vitality to the rooftop setting and supports our commitment to sustainability.

The Hope Street lobby also functions as a gallery space, showcasing emerging artists and aligning meaningfully with our client Aria Property Group's neighbouring Fish Lane Arts Precinct.

The architecture celebrates Brisbane's natural beauty and relaxed lifestyle, punctuating the skyline with a timber pergola and biodiverse tropical planting. It presented a chance to reflect on the present and offer a new vision for the future of city living.

Project | Solar Trees Marketplace (Shanghai, China)

Shanghai has transformed at extraordinary speed. As recently as 1984, this part of the city was still densely forested. Solar Trees Marketplace opens a dialogue with that history. Thirty-two tree-like canopies form an architectural forest, filtering light, encouraging natural airflow and returning the restorative qualities of nature to the neighbourhood.
